It is a filipino demon called an "aswang." Myth has it that it during the day she appears to be a normal woman, but at night, her upper torso sprouts wings and detaches from her lower half. She then flys from house to house using it's long tongue to feed on pregnant women's organs. I could be wrong about the last part, but I think that is how the legend goes. Oh yeah, her entrails are hanging out as she flys through the skies too! I was flippin through the channels one lazy afternoon when I came across this spanish movie. (I don't have cable.) I was intrigued because the movie's focus was on these group of five masked wrestlers, AKA luchadors. Normally I find the concept of sweaty men grappling each other facinating, but the makers of this movie out did themselves by throwing in a trio of "little people." <br /><br /><br /><br />For some reason unknown to me because I tuned in too late, these luchadors had pissed off the little people so much, that at every opportunity the had, they attempted to asassinate them while the little people wore tacky wrestling leotards with huge M's on them. Now, judging from the production value of the movie, it had to be made in the 70's, so my assumption is that although not very p.c., the "M" most likely stood for midget. <br /><br /><br /><br />I could not stop laughing. I am not really the type to laugh out loud, so when my wife heard me, she investigated. Before she knew it, she was sucked into the movie too.
